Alejandra arrives in Cusco. He left 22 years ago, with his mother, and has never returned since then to this city and country that are essentially foreign to him. Alejandra has come to sell, together with her uncle Américo, the colonial house that her maternal family has in the city. Doing paperwork, Alejandra discovers that her father, who abandoned her when she was 3 years old, is alive. He is alive and imprisoned, for having been a militant in the Shining Path, and Alejandra decides to meet Pedro, her father.
