Augusto Tamayo San Román (born May 5, 1953, Lima, Peru) is a renowned Peruvian film director, writer, poet, screenwriter, and cinematic/television/video producer. He is the son of celebrated literate Augusto Tamayo Vargas and is an architect, literate, director, and creator. His first film was Cuentos inmorales (1978), Also known for Runa Simi (2025), Wiñaymanta (2012), and Paredes Mudas (2011).
