Runa Simi
Fernando Valencia is the central figure in the award-winning documentary *Runa Simi*. Living in the Cusco region of Peru, he has dedicated himself to preserving and promoting the Quechua language by dubbing popular films into the language spoken by millions throughout the Andes.
Fernando attended the screening of his film at two showings in Miami, a screening on Long Island and a screening in New York City during the April 2026 editions of Filmed in Peru.
