Jimmy Valdivieso is a Peruvian anthropologist and filmmaker known for the documentary Mi Barrios Altos Querido (2019), a feature documentary about Lima's Barrios Altos neighborhood. The film follows five diverse characters sharing their daily challenges and hopes for their neighborhood.
Jimmy attended the New York screening of his short film Transform You in New York and Connecticut in April, 2026.
He also attended in 2023 with Mi Marrios Altos Querido. The film was shown in New Jersey and New York City.
