Film Submissions Open
We are now accepting films for our July 2026 festival in South Florida and our April 2027 festival in Miami & New York. All films must have been produced in Peru.
Audience Award Winners Announced
Runa Simi is the winner of the first "Filmed in Peru" Audience Award presented by PACCA and Peruvian Artist Lidia Cortez.
1982 won the second place award.
Audiences were asked to rate each film and these two films were the most popular.
About Filmed in Peru
"Filmed in Peru" is a showcase of Peruvian films in the United States. Since we started in 2023, we have brought more than 50 films to the USA, many showing for the very first time outside of Peru.
A big part of our festival is also bringing Peruvian filmmakers. We are proud that we have been able to invite 40 filmmakers over the past four years to attend.
